Painting in a sustainable way

The first thing to consider with the cans is that the gas emitted que result very harmful not just for the environment but also for our health. This fumes are very dangerous for our lungs and using a mask while painting is very recomended. That's why the company “Montana Colors” created the cans “Water Based” which has a water base and does not cause a impact on our health of the environment. Many artists, due to the ordinary cans, do have respiratory problems developed by the years painting, and this wouldn't be a problem with these cans.

But why don't they always use these cans? The problem with these cans is the price, they are nearly four times more expensive than the usual cans, and for artists that paint regularly and waste 300€ on paint every month, using these cans would result a very big expense. This paint is therefore more common for artists with a bigger income.

Even though this is like this, at many graffiti festivals where the organizers need to but a lot of paint, it would be recommended to buy these kind of cans and instead of making a very large mural, maybe it would be better to make a smaller one but with eco friendly cans.
